Course Evaluations

The Student Union, working with CIADE have been able to bring to you Course Evaluations.

OCAD University now has an institution-wide course evaluation system, spanning the Faculties of Art, Design, Interdisciplinary Studies and Liberal Arts & Sciences. Nearing the end of each semester, faculty members will be presenting the course evaluation survey for each course, during class time. The purpose of course evaluations are two fold. It adds accountability for students, giving them the ability to provide feedback to their instructors, as consumers of education. As well, course evaluations will be used as a professional development tool for faculty members.

The Student Union will be publishing the course evaluations at the end of each year in a publication tentatively titled the "Anti-Calendar". The Anti-Calendar will have an indexed list of each course offered at OCAD U, the instructor(s) who teach the course, accompanied by aggregate numerical ratings and compiled, edited comment sections. Students can use the Anti-Calendar to aid themselves in course selection.
