Student Union elections take place in March annually. Any unfilled positions and the 1st year representative are elected in October of the following school year.
The elections are mediated and run by the Chief Returning Officer (CRO). The CRO supervises all the election operations, ensuring that the voting and counting are done effectively and fairly. Candidates look to the CRO as the ultimate arbiter of fairness in the campaign.
