Cadmium
Cadmium is a student newspaper that offers OCAD students the opportunity to have their voices heard and creativity displayed to their fellow OCADians. Cadmium confronts student's issues, raises awareness on issues of justice and equity, informs students of relevant events and cool places to hang out, helps you save a few bucks, and hopes to further develop the already strong sense of community at OCAD.
We, at the Student Union, sincerely wish for you and every other OCAD student to regularly contribute content to cadmium by emailing your articles and images to publication@ocadsu.org and invite you to encourage your friends and acquaintances at OCAD to do the same. We also hope that you regularly pick up and read each new issue of cadmium, and that you share its insights and artwork with your friends and family. With your help this will be a great year for Cadmium, and we hope it's a great year at OCAD for you as well!
Introducing (O)Cadmium.
The the name Cadmium appears from the periodic table of elements, it falls as a chemical element. Used as a pigment and for corrosion resistance in steel, it lends itself to permanence, perhaps you've heard of it? Cadmium is now decreasing in applications due to its toxicity associated with health and environmental concerns, but like most of the advancements of the twentieth century, the damage is already done.
This newspaper is free. Share it with a friend, post it on Facebook, bookmark it. Thanks.
