Seeking: Workshop Facilitator for the Art Fair

Reports To: Manager, HR & Administration

Working Relationship: OCAD SU Art Fair Committee

Rate of Pay: $500/ per workshop, 2 hrs in length 

Position Description: The OCAD Student Union is looking for 2 workshop facilitators in the theme of Financial Development (eg. budgeting, tracking sales) and Branding Development (eg. designing business cards, logo, communications, marketing, pitching, networking, and creative entrepreneurial skills) in order to offer professional development opportunities for students participating in the 2023 Art Fair. 

The Art Fair is the first of its kind, and is funded by the joint University and OCAD Student Union's Affordability Task Force, as a revenue-generating opportunity to alleviate the rising costs of living. The Art Fair will be a space for students to sell their own zines, prints, ceramics, jewellery, etc, and will take place on Thursday, November 2 from 4:00 – 8:00pm at the Great Hall and Lobby of 100 McCaul.

Please note that this posting is only open to current members of the OCAD Student Union (students currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program at OCAD University or anyone who attended OCAD University after September 1, 2022).
