My name is Pixel Heller and I am the BIPOC Representative at OCAD U. I am in my 4th year in the Life Studies program. My personal history and experiences have shaped my understanding of the challenges faced by BIPOC individuals which has driven me to create positive change and foster a sense of belonging for all.
I have not been involved with the Student Union in the past, but I previously held the position of Vice President for the Black Student Collective at OCAD. Now, as the BIPOC Representative, I aim to build upon my previous experiences and drive meaningful change at OCAD. By organizing events, workshops, and initiatives, I hope to empower BIPOC students and create an inclusive environment that embraces diversity.
