Lunar New Year marks the start of the new year based on the lunar calendar and is one of the most widely celebrated occasions across many Asian cultures, including Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and many more. Each year is also associated with an animal from the zodiac, and 2026 marks the beginning of the Year of the Horse — a symbol of adventure, vitality, and momentum. It is a time of family, tradition, food, and joyful gatherings, and we are so excited to bring that spirit to our OCAD U community!
